While it was reported last week that Megan Fox is no longer a part of the Transformers franchise there has been much speculation about who will replace her. The 23 year old model from England and great-grandaughter of politician Sir Herbert James Huntington-Whiteley has been rumored to be the forerunner.

Some of the celebrities considered were: Zoe Saldana, Hayden Panettiere, Ashley Greene, Vanessa Hudgens, Miranda Kerr, and Bar Refaeli.

According to sources, the producers have come up with a replacement for Fox and the announcement will be made shortly. I hope she can act because as far as looks go I am sure she will be easy to watch onscreen.

The candidates for replacing Megan Fox after her departure from the Transformers franchise for being to skinny were whittled down to three fashion models. Yes, fashion models.

Director Michael Bay offered the role to Rosie-Huntington Whiteley according to Deadline Hollywood. Huntington-Whiteley read for Bay in Los Angeles last friday and won the role which began production May 17th. Michael Bay has worked with Rosie on multiple occasions when he did advertising work for Victoria’s Secret. Here is a Victoria’s Secret commercial directed by Michael Bay.

Victoria’s Secret CEO Edward Razek must be very proud.
