How to use your Nikon SB-800 to take amazing pictures.
How to use your Nikon SB-800 to take amazing pictures:
Below you will find another pic shot with the Nikon SB-800. For most of the pics I shot in Santorini and Athens Greece I used natural light. There were many white walls around that naturally bounced light up on Olga. With this particular shot, The sun was above and behind the model lighting most of the scene. I simply put my Nikon SB-800 on the hotshoe and set the camera to TTL mode. If you need a little more or a little less light use the + and – buttons to adjust accordingly.

Nikon SB 800 Speedlight Review – Outdoor Fashion Lighting
Nikon SB 800 review:
I have to admit I love using my Nikon SB 800′s in a tight situation. A few years ago I was booked for a job in New York City. I packed my gear and flew in from Los Angeles. My equipment never arrived. In New York I had to rent gear to get out of a very sticky situation. It was very expensive and I was frustrated. (My studio lights ended up in LA about a week later.)
I called a photographer colleague and asked him what to do in this situation. He said, “use your SB 800′s. They are small, portable and they pack easily. You can have your own studio kit in your backpack with you wherever you shoot.”
I love to shoot outdoors and I love natural light! Second to that I love my SB 800′s. They overpower the sun when used properly and give me fantastic results. The shot below was made using natural light and one SB 800 mounted on the camera hotshoe.
