I admit it, I am a softie. I like dance movies. I like figureskating. I mean who cannot help but admire the Olympic figureskaters? They have trained their whole lives to perform acrobatic and ballroom stunts on ice. I hold my breath through performances as I watch in amazement: quadruple spins in the air, brothers and sisters pretending (i think they are pretending) to be in love and gravity defying stunts. I love it all. Except, sometimes, their outfits. I mean, really. Dirty jeans during the Olympics? You trained your whole life to go for the gold and this is what you came up with to wear? Where is Donatella Versace when you need her most?
